Parent Commissioning represents a commitment on your part to raise your kids up "in the training and instruction of the Lord" (Eph. 6:4), and a commitment on the part of The Summit Church to support you in that effort! There are two steps in the Parent Commissioning process: 1) Orientation and 2) Commissioning.

In our orientation, Summit staff will discuss God’s design for parenting and how we plan to support you and partner with you in discipling your children. The actual Commissioning will take place at your campus and will include our church family praying over you and sending you to take the gospel to your home.

Our family ministries team wants to partner with you to raise a generation for Christ. Our Parent Commissioning Orientation is the first step in this partnership, where we discuss God's design for parenting and how The Summit plans to support you and partner with you in disciplining your children.
