The Chapel Hill campus will be partnering with the Hargraves Community Center for Family Fun Day this year! Family Fun Day was developed to provide a positive experience for children of low to moderate income families before going back to school. Children will receive free backpacks, free haircuts and braiding for females, and some clothing items (socks and underwear). In addition, fun activities (bounce houses, free food, and entertainment) will be provided for the entire community. The event also connects families with teachers from every school, mental health professionals, and social workers who help connect families to the resources they need to be successful all year.

This year's event will take place from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Hargraves Community Center. If you plan to attend the event, you do NOT need to register.

If you are interested in volunteering for this event, we will have two volunteer shifts: 8-10:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Please register if you'd like to volunteer for either of those times slots!
