Summit Ministry Internship

The Church rises and falls on leadership.

Summit Ministry Internship (SMI) develops next-generation ministry leaders. We are committed to discipling young leaders and fostering their growth in knowledge, character, vision, and skills.

Every intern is immersed in ministry opportunities that line up with their personal passion. The demands are high. The commitment level is demanding. One key element which separates the Summit Internship from others is that, as an intern, your level of commitment is matched by your Ministry Coach/Discipler’s involvement in your life.

Summit’s philosophy of ministry is to build the person through the ministry. Our focus is on discipling and training young leaders. We believe the church is a perfect place for accomplishing that task. We are committed to raising up the next generation of leaders, to reproduce reproducers, 2 Timothy 2:2.

The official beginning of the program is August 15th. Following the Orientation, you’ll be paired with a Ministry Coach/Discipler who will help you develop the character and skills necessary to be a church leader. You will gain practical ministry experience in bi-weekly training.

When you graduate you’ll possess valuable ministry experience, a meaningful relationship with a Summit staff member and a group of great friends. You can even earn seminary credits along the way.
