What to Expect

If it's your first time at Summit, you are our honored guest. We’ve thought through every detail of the weekend on your behalf, and we’re excited to host you. Still, we understand that showing up at a new place for the first time can be nerve-wracking, so here are a few frequently asked questions to help you plan your visit.

You’ll see signs that ask you to turn on your hazard lights. Go ahead and fire them up! It’s our way of helping you find parking close to the main entrance. Our parking team will direct you to the closest available spot. Just follow the smiling faces in the bright orange vests.

As you're walking to the building, look for the First Time Guest tent outside the main entrance (during inclement weather, we may move it just inside the door). We have a free gift there for you, but more importantly, we have a team that will act as your personal guide, helping you find your way to the auditorium, restrooms, and kids environments. If you need anything throughout your visit—just stop by the tent or ask anyone with a Summit lanyard or name tag. We’re here to serve you.

Our gatherings last about 75 minutes and are comprised of singing, preaching, and praying. We also have a regular monthly rotation of baptisms, communion, and commissioning during our services.

If you would like to check out some of our services, click here. If you are visiting for the first time, we suggest arriving 20 minutes early so that we may help you park, visit our First Time Guest area where we have a small gift for you, and help answer any questions you may have while helping you on your way to your seat.

In Summit Kids, children 4th grade and younger experience Jesus on their level. Summit Kids is a safe, age-appropriate environment where kids have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, and small group time. To see what our kids are learning, check out our Summit Kids' YouTube channel.

We understand that it’s a big deal to drop your kids off in an unfamiliar place. You’re welcome to ask a Summit Kids staff member for a tour before you make your decision. But we find that once your kids see the fun that’s in store for them, they won’t want to leave!

For nursing mothers, every campus also has a viewing room where moms and infants can watch the service together.

Whatever you’d like. We’re not a dress-up kind of crowd. Most people wear casual attire, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

Fill in the blank with whatever you fear would make you unwelcome: divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, gay, atheist, skeptic, etc. Whether you grew up in church, have never been to church, consider yourself a follower of Jesus, or just have questions, we'd love for you to join us.

We’ll see you this weekend!
