SUMMIT KIDS RSVP

Registration will open on Dec. 4

Due to limited space available in DPAC, we are only able to accommodate a certain number of kids for Summit Kids.

Summit Kids will be provided for kids age 6 weeks through preschool, but only with a reservation.

Children who aren't attending Summit Kids are invited to the service, but all ages must have a ticket.

RSVP Today!

Check-in for kids is at the east side of DPAC on South Mangum Street.

Families may drop off up to one hour prior to each service.

There will not be a place to store strollers, so plan accordingly!

Summit Kids is nut free, and we will be providing nut free snacks.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteer sign-ups begin Nov. 16.

There are over 1,800 spaces up for grabs to serve in guest services, Summit Kids, or Boiler Room (prayer team). Volunteers get early bird access to tickets and Summit Kids before they go live on Dec. 4. Join us as we give this gift to our city!

*Summit Kids volunteers will need to consent to a background check before serving!

PRAY FOR CHRISTMAS
AT DPAC

Our desire is that many would come and hear the life-changing message of the gospel as we celebrate Christmas with the Summit at DPAC this year. We want to invite you to walk and pray in your own neighborhood, an area apartment complex, or a new development being built near your home.

FAQS

DPAC’s regulations require all attendees to have a ticket to enter the venue. No one will be admitted without a ticket, and all tickets will be scanned upon entry. If you have a ticket your party is not using, please turn it in at the box office.
Whether your child is attending the service or joining us in Summit Kids, the corresponding ticket is required to enter the building. Due to limited space, children who do not have an RSVP for Summit Kids will not be permitted to stay. If you choose to take your children into the service (which you should!), all children must have a Ticketmaster issued ticket for the service time.

Guests should be able to return tickets through their Ticketmaster accounts at any time:

  • Log into Ticketmaster using the account used when reserving tickets
  • Select “My Account” in the top right corner
  • Select “Upcoming Events” under the “My Tickets” section
  • Choose the Christmas with the Summit at DPAC
  • Initiate a chat with Ticketmaster and request a cancellation (bottom left)

Guests can also transfer tickets to someone they know:

  • Log into Ticketmaster using the account used when reserving tickets
  • Select “My Account” in the top right corner
  • Select “Upcoming Events” under the “My Tickets” section
  • Choose the Christmas with the Summit at DPAC
  • Select “Transfer Tickets” (you will need the recipient’s name and email address)

Summit services are engaging with light and sound, so please plan ahead for a stimulating environment. If you or your child would benefit from headphones to dampen the sound, please feel free to bring your own pair. Each service will run approximately 90 minutes.

If the service may feel overwhelming for you or someone you know, we invite you to join us on Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. at the Brier Creek campus (South Auditorium and Studio 712) for our low-sensory Christmas service, where the lights are up and the sound is down. This service is a great opportunity for those with and without sensory sensitivities to worship the birth of our Savior together!

All seating for Christmas with the Summit at DPAC is General Admission. However, we will be filling the theater one level at a time, from the bottom to the top. If you desire to sit in an upper section, we ask that you wait until that level opens.

Parking: A limited number of handicap accessible parking spaces will be available directly in front of DPAC’s entrance on Vivian Street. We will have Durham police officers assisting in that area; please notify them if you need availability. In addition, each parking garage has multiple handicap accessible spaces. You must have a valid handicapped placard in order to park in one of these areas.

Seating: Each level of DPAC has handicap accessible seating areas and space for wheelchairs. Elevators are available to each level.

Sign Language Interpretation: There will be reserved seats for best viewing of sign language interpretation in Section 2, Row F during the 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. services on December 23.

Sensory Sensitivity: Summit services are engaging with light and sound, so please plan ahead for a stimulating environment. If you or your child would benefit from headphones to dampen the sound, feel free to bring your own pair.

If the service may feel overwhelming for you or someone you know, we invite you to join us on Dec. 17 at 3 p.m. at the Brier Creek campus (South Auditorium and Studio 712) for our low-sensory Christmas service, where the lights are up and the sound is down. This service is a great opportunity for those with and without sensory sensitivities to worship the birth of our Savior together!

For help with handicapped seating or other special needs, please visit the guest services desk in the main lobby of DPAC.

General drop and go parking is available on Vivian Street directly in front of DPAC. You will need to signal a Durham police officer, who will be on standby and ready to grant you access. There is no parking allowed on Vivian without a valid handicapped placard. Summit Kids drop and go is available in front of the Summit Kids check-in doors on Mangum.

Lobby doors will open one hour prior to each service. The auditorium will open 30 minutes prior to each service and all seating is general admission. We suggest that you plan on arriving 45-60 minutes prior to the service, leaving you plenty of time to park and walk to DPAC.

Keep in mind that all services are at capacity. While we want to honor your desire to sit with friends and family, we’d ask that you wait outside or in the lobby until your entire party is together, and then enter the auditorium as a group.
