Kids Camp 2025

July 23 - August 2 // 3 Sessions Available

Summit Kids Camp is for rising 3rd through 5th graders to join staff and leaders in an incredible experience at Camp Willow Springs (about an hour and a half drive from Raleigh). Summit Kids is passionate about partnering with families to raise a generation that knows and loves Christ. We understand that sending your kids to camp is a big decision, which is why we are excited to walk alongside you in preparing your child for this experience. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure environment where your child can grow in their faith, discovering more about who God is and who he created them to be. This year at camp we will be diving into discipleship conversations about how to know God and make him known—all while having a blast!

Interested in Giving Toward Camp?

What to Expect

Activities

Camp Willow Springs offers opportunities for kids to enjoy many activities while at camp. The rotations include a giant swing, low ropes, swimming pool, and the Red Shark (towable float that’s pulled behind a ski boat).

There are also opportunities to participate in the following: canoeing, archery, GaGa Ball, jumping pillow, soccer, crafts, and basketball

Gospel-Centered Conversations

We will use Scripture to learn more about God and understand what we believe more deeply. In small groups, we will talk about what it looks like to live out discipleship in everyday life—not just in church.

Faqs

Summit staff, Camp Willow Springs staff, background-checked cabin leaders, and a registered nurse will be on site for each session of camp.
Families are responsible for getting their children to and from Camp Willow Springs.
Our friends at Camp Willow Springs deal with a lot of food sensitivities throughout the summer, so you can be sure any food allergies will be treated with the utmost care. Please make sure you note any allergies/medical conditions on your registration. During check-in, all medicine will be dropped off with the camp nurse, who will administer it at the requested times.
The Camp Willow Springs store will be open at drop-off and pick-up if you want to make a purchase. Otherwise, all snacks and meals will be covered. Please do NOT send snacks with your child—snacks are not allowed in cabins, so please do not pack them.
Parents are encouraged NOT to visit camp for these three days. It can incite home-sickness (and not just for your own kid). If for some reason you must get in touch with your child during camp, there are three ways you can contact them:
  • Reach out to the kids director at your campus
  • Emergency phone number for Toiya Williams (Central Kids Director): (919) 354-6053
  • A receptionist is available throughout the day at Camp Willow Springs: (252) 586-0728
Our desire is to be as distraction-free as possible. Cell phones, tablets, and other electronic devices are not permitted.
Please view our Information Guide for all details including our packing list and other important details.
After check-in, all campers will take a swim test to determine their swimming ability. There is a smaller circular portion of the pool that is used for beginning swimmers, with a depth of three to four feet. This is sectioned off from the five-foot portion designated for more advanced swimmers. All campers use the buddy system while swimming, for a safe and fun experience.
To make a payment, log in to your Summit account, scroll down to see “Recent Registrations,” and click to make a payment. Complete payment is due by May 31 or the registration may be forfeited. To cancel, please reach out to kids@summitchurch.com. Cancellations by May 31 will receive a full refund. After May 31, refunds will not be available.
Leading up to camp, you can expect communication from our team in April, June, and July. While at camp, you should receive daily updates through the email address used on your camper’s registration.
