Come serve with our Summit missionaries who work in the slum and red light districts of a large South Asian city. The team will spend time prayer walking, interacting with national partners, and engaging in evangelism and discipleship. There will also be opportunities to care for the missionaries and invest in them by hanging out with them and learning more about their daily lives and ministries.

We will be traveling to a large city in Southeast Asia to spend time with one of our Summit families who live and serve there. We will spend time encouraging them and partnering with them in their church planting efforts among one of the most unreached people groups in the whole world.

Join us as we immerse ourselves in the fabric of Thai society, embracing the opportunity to make a lasting impact while exploring this enchanting city. Throughout our mission trip, we will engage in a variety of meaningful activities aimed at serving the local community and sharing the message of hope. Our team will have the privilege of facilitating Vacation Bible School and English Camps. Additionally, we will embark on prayer walks, meandering through the bustling streets of Bangkok, lifting up the needs of the people and seeking God's guidance and blessing upon this dynamic city.

The primary purpose of this trip is to support and encourage members who have been on the mission field for 13 years and now serve in a beautiful remote area of Eastern Europe. The team being there will also open doors to reach unreached people groups who have little to no access to the gospel. The culture of these people is so hospitable and inviting. Come prepared to learn, pray and be used as a part of God's work in a place of great beauty and need!

On this trip we will travel to Baja California, Mexico to join alongside what God is doing through the local church, staff and missionaries. Many indigenous people from the most unreached parts of Mexico are recruited to work as migrant farmworkers in this area. During our trip, we will assist with community outreach events such as vacation bible school and showing evangelistic films, along with other projects based on the team's skill sets and the community's needs.

Come see the work God is doing among the amazing people living in the Middle East! Our primary focus will be to encourage field workers sent from our church as we participate in their daily routines, spending time with locals in their homes and spending time in prayer and worship with other believers. As you hear and see the work God is doing in and through others, you will gain better insight into how local churches are engaged in their community, how the gospel is being communicated and demonstrated through various outreach programs and see how the Lord is using a variety of backgrounds, vocations and skill sets for the advancement of His Kingdom. Going on this short term trip will lead to long term development-in God’s kingdom and in our hearts. Going there will forever change the way you live here.

Our mission at The Summit Church is "Following the Holy Spirit, we exist to create a movement of disciple-making disciples in RDU and around the world." Because Jesus came for us, we go for the sake of others! In Trento, Italy, we want to help our partners by (1) expanding the reach of their ministry by providing an increased presence in their ministry efforts, (2) encouraging their local church partners, and (3) raising up new prayer advocates will who intercede on behalf of the lostness in the city. We will also prioritize care for our field partner by being present through prayer, conversation, encouragement, and fellowship. In Trento, we will engage with college students through evangelism, interacting with local youth and their parents, participating in and helping facilitate Bible studies and English classes, as well as serving in a variety of other ways (ex: cleaning) to care for our partners all to God's glory! **This trip will require large amounts of walking every day (20,000+ steps/day), including hills and stairs.**

Come to Southeast Asia! Come and serve with one of our Summit field partners mistering to university students in a beautifully diverse jungle megapolis. Every major world religion is here, people are worshiping idols in search of hope, and yet the Kingdom of God is not yet known. You will encourage, sustain, pray with, and serve alongside our Summit field partner as they work to reach students from all over the world. Come and be a part of God's mission of reconciliation among the lost.

The Japanese people are the second largest unreached people group in the world and often resistant to the Gospel. As our missionaries open a church mobilization center in Tokyo, our team is invited to help train Japanese pastors in evangelism, kids/students ministry, small groups, and everything in between! Our primary focus is to care for our missionaries and spur them as they labor daily in the harvest via long-term relationships. Some days this will look like prayer walking with our Ms, evangelism, discipleship, visiting churches, helping in outreach, etc. You will be equipped with everything you need for a week of ministry, just make sure you bring a heart ready to serve and care!

Our team will be visiting one of our Summit missionaries involved with starting a church planting network with local German pastors. We will learn the history of Christianity in the area, go on prayer walks, visit key historical sites, and learn about urban ministry from German church planters and leaders. The trips we are offering, are much different than a classic missions trip that involves going on the street and evangelizing. It would be very hard in our context and culture to do that because of the language barrier and it would actually probably do more damage than good being on the streets trying to talk with people in a language they do not speak. Therefore, there is always a question about how to use a team most effectively. We have come up with a hybrid trip where it will join a Church Plant for a weekend to encourage them and partner with them in prayer and fellowship, but also using the time as a discipleship/leadership trip for our church by looking at the Reformation, WW2, and Cold War sites to talk about leadership and conviction as a Christian in the midst of adversity. It is a tool to inform and teach about the church in Germany and calling people to missions locally and globally. This trip would not be for the individual who wants to be on the street daily passing out tracts, but it could be for anyone, even whole families, or father/sons or husband/wife who want to partner with a Church Plant and to challenge their faith.

We are going to a mega city that serves as the cultural, financial, and economic center of the country. We will be spending time in the city and working with one of our Summit families who are currently living and serving there. We will get to know them, pray with them, and encourage them as they serve amongst some of the most unreached people groups in the world. We will have opportunities to engage with different ministries and care for those that are far from God but close to our missionaries geographically.
