Be the Movement

While our lives may look different, our mission remains the same.

For the remainder of the year, we will not gather in person at our campuses on the weekend. While our lives may look different, our mission remains the same: Following the Holy Spirit, we exist to create a movement of disciple-making disciples, in RDU and around the world. By God’s grace, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, that movement has not ceased moving. Just because our physical doors have been closed does not mean the church has been closed. We’re still reaching, discipling, and even sending people.

The way we will be the movement this year is by continuing to reach, disciple, and send.

We do whatever it takes to reach all people.

The primary way we will reach people in this season is by inviting others from our communities to join us in home gatherings. A Summit home gathering is a weekly meeting of Summit members and guests, in homes, where we worship Jesus through singing, teaching, and fellowship with one another, in order to make disciple-making disciples in RDU and around the world.

Find a Home Gathering

We understand every individual has a different level of comfort in this time. If you don’t feel like you’re ready, or if you’re physically unable to join a Summit home gathering, we encourage you to continue watching the service online from the comfort of your home.

Access our weekend worship resources here for weekly content designed for kids, students, and adults.

How to Worship With Us

Watch the service on demand starting Saturdays at noon on YouTube, or join our livestream Sundays at 9 and 11 a.m. at or on Facebook.

Listen to the Service by Phone

For those who may not have access to the internet in their home, nursing home, or hospital room, we have a phone number that allows you to call in and listen to our 11 a.m. service live. Here’s how it works:

  1. Call (844) 698-6868.
  2. To be notified when our 11 a.m. service goes live, press “1,” and you’ll receive a phone call on Sunday before the service begins.
  3. If you miss the live service, you can call the number at any time and hear the previous service on-demand.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Interpretation

Our sermons are now available on-demand with sign language interpretation for those who are deaf or hard of hearing.

We make disciples, not just converts.

This fall, we want to provide simple ways for you to connect with others, at your comfort level, and grow as a disciple at home.

Grow at Home

We send every member.

The primary way we’ll send people is by equipping others to witness to the world.

Here are a few ways to live sent:

  • Engage in a ServeRDU ministry opportunity year-round.
  • Participate in a local short-term trip to our disaster relief partners in North Carolina. (Coming soon, along with detailed plans for the health and safety of all participants!)
  • Pray for missionaries around the world and those who have had to return to the U.S. due to COVID-19.
  • Engage your neighbors and Ones with the gospel and meet their tangible needs.
  • Give online at (For more on how giving fuels sending, read Pastor J.D.’s “Four Ways Every Believer Can Live Sent.”)
