When you reserve your tickets, you will be assigned a parking lot.
Please plan for a short, hilly walk from all parking lots, with the farthest lot about a 10-minute walk from the venue.
If you prefer to skip the walk, you can choose the Park and Ride option and take a shuttle from the Friday Center to the Smith Center.
Accessible (ADA) parking will be available in a designated lot. To use this option, please reserve your pass using the ADA parking link. A valid accessible placard or license plate is required for entry.
We will not be having Summit Kids, but we’ll provide worship bags and other resources to help children stay engaged throughout the 90-minute service.
Our services include bright lights and loud sounds. If your child is sensitive to sensory input, consider bringing headphones or other comfort items.
Children age 2 and under do not need a ticket unless they will be sitting in their own seat. Children age 3 and up do require a ticket.
Clear bags are preferred for security purposes, but diaper bags are allowed.

While we normally ask volunteers to “serve one, attend one,” we’re making a special exception for Church at the Dome! For this event, you’ll have the opportunity to both serve and attend the same service. You’ll be released from your role shortly after the service begins.
If you are serving, you will also need a ticket to attend, so please make sure to register for both a seat and a serving role.
At Church at the Dome we'll celebrate the public declaration of faith through baptisms. If you are interested in getting baptized, let us know so a pastor can follow up with you!
Each service will run approximately 90 minutes and will include worship and a message from Pastor J.D. Our services include bright lights and loud sounds, so please plan ahead for a stimulating environment.
No. Church at the Dome is for everyone at all Summit campuses. There will be no Thursday night (Sept. 18) or Sunday morning (Sept. 21) services at any Summit location.
Yes, the Smith Center will offer a limited concession menu for the purchase of food and drinks. Summit will not profit off of concession sales.
Yes, tickets are free, but everyone age 3 and older will need a ticket to enter the building. You will scan tickets upon arrival using your mobile phone.

Tickets will be sent from tickets@uncaa.unc.edu with the subject line “Your Order Has Arrived.” You must click the link found in the body of the email. Once you click the link, you will need to download the mobile ticket to your digital wallet (Apple Wallet or Google Pay).
No, entry to the Smith Center will be digital only. If you do not have access to a smartphone, please transfer your ticket to a member of your party to scan at the gate.
All seating for Church at the Dome is general admission. You will be guided to an available seat upon entry to the arena.
While we want to honor your desire to sit with friends and family, we ask that you wait outside until your entire party is together, then enter the arena as a group.
Log in to the account you created at goheels.com/myaccount. Click “Transfer Tickets,” select the ticket(s) you wish to transfer, and enter the mobile number or email address of the individual you are transferring the tickets to. You can also transfer multiple tickets to multiple individuals.
No, all tickets to Church at the Dome are free and should only be reserved through UNC’s ticketing system or transferred to you from a trusted source.

We encourage you to arrive 60 minutes prior to the service time to allow time for traffic, parking, and making your way into the building. Doors will open one hour before each service. For those attending the 3 p.m. service, please do not arrive before 1:30 p.m. so those attending the earlier service have time to exit.
When you reserve your tickets, you will be assigned a parking lot, or you can choose to park and ride from the Friday Center. Please only park in your assigned lot. You will not be able to enter a lot if you do not have a parking pass for that lot.
No, to keep traffic flowing smoothly, please do not drop off in front of the building. Instead, head directly to your assigned parking lot.
Venue: All entrances at the Dean E. Smith Center are accessible for guests with disabilities. Accessible restrooms and seating are located on the concourse level in the Smith Center. Accessible concessions are available throughout the arena.
Parking: Accessible parking is located in the Williamson Parking Lot, located directly across the street from the Smith Center. Please use the ADA parking link when reserving your parking pass. You will need an accessible placard or license plate to enter this lot.
We will offer sign language interpretation at our 10 a.m. service. There will be reserved seats in the front row for best viewing of our ASL interpreters.
Summit services are engaging with light and sound components, so please plan ahead for a stimulating environment. If you or your child would benefit from headphones to dampen the sound, feel free to bring your own pair. Additionally, a sensory friendly space will be available outside the building, should you need a quiet moment away from the service.
A lactation room is located in the guest services room across the concourse from Section 125 and within the guest services room (between Entrances A and B).
Both Church at the Dome services will be translated into Spanish via the LiveVoice app (Apple | Android). If you or someone you know needs translation, please download the app prior to the service and bring a pair of headphones. Translation services will use your phone’s data plan.
At the request of the Dean E. Smith Center, outside food and beverage is not permitted inside the arena, unless inside a diaper bag. Two unopened water bottles (20 oz. or less) per person are allowed.
Clear bags are preferred in order to reduce your screening time at the doors. All bags are subject to search.
Diaper bags: Yes, diaper bags are permitted.
Strollers: Stroller parking can be found in the guest services area (between Entrances A and B) OR just inside the Entrance D concourse.
Yes! While you have the option to serve one and attend one, we have intentionally crafted our serving roles so that you can both serve and attend in a single service. Please note, if you choose to attend the service you’re volunteering in, you will likely miss the first 10–15 minutes of service as we finish serving those entering the building for that service.
Whichever option you choose (serve and attend or serve one/attend one), you will also need a ticket to attend, so please make sure to register for both a seat and a serving role.
No. Our Church at the Dome services will be family friendly, and all children and students are welcome to attend. There will not be separate programming. Take a look at our “Families with Children” section for more information.
